Returns and Refunds

Cancellations

All cancellations must be requested within 24 hours after making the order. To cancel an order, please send an email at shop@soompi.com.

Damaged and defective items

A damaged or defective item is characterized by one or more of the following conditions: moderate or extensive dents, scratches, tears, creases, missing autographs, or conditions of a similar nature.

It is not characterized by any of the following conditions: smudged ink from autographs, missing optional photocards, superficial tears on the wrapping, or conditions of a similar nature.

Non-special items

  • - When exchange is possible:

We agree to exchange a damaged item as long as it has not been opened and the item is still available at our supplier.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please email us at shop@soompi.com within 7 days of delivery. In your email, please give us your order number, explain in detail the damages/defects observed on the item, and attach some pictures of the item.

We will provide you with the return instructions for sending back the damaged or defective item. All returned items must be safely wrapped and packaged.

After receiving the returned item, we will examine it. If the damages/defects observed on the item are as described in your email, we will ship you a replacement for the item using standard airmail.

Compensation for the shipping costs will be provided by the issue of a gift certificate and will only be offered if the package is returned by standard airmail. No compensation for shipping costs will be provided for other shipping methods.

Please note that for all returned products, we will verify the condition before sending out a replacement or authorizing a refund.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost returned items.

  • - When exchange is not possible:

If the item is no longer available at our supplier, there are two options:

  1. You can send us back the item, and we will issue a full refund for the item, excluding shipping fees.
  2. You keep the item, and we will issue a $3 gift certificate for items under $30, or a $5 gift certificate for items over $30.

Special items

As special packages (signed CDs) are available in limited quantity, replacements are not possible.

There are consequently two options for special packages:

  1. You can send us back the item, and we will issue a full refund for the item, excluding shipping fees.
  2. You can keep the item, and we will issue a $3 gift certificate.

If you receive a damaged or defective special package, please email us at shop@soompi.com within 7 days of delivery. In your email, please give us your order number, explain in detail the damages/defects observed on the item, and attach some pictures of the item.

If you choose to keep the item, and we agree to the damages as claimed, we will issue a $3 gift certificate. If you choose to get a full refund, we will provide you with the return instructions for sending back to us the damaged or defective item. All returned items must be safely wrapped and packaged.

After receiving the returned item, we will examine it. If the damages/defects observed on the item are as described in your email, we will issue a full refund of the item (except the shipping and handling fees).

Please note that for all returned products, we will verify the condition before authorizing a refund.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost returned items. 

Lost Orders

As tracking is available on all packages, no refund will be made for “lost” orders.

Returned Orders

If we receive an unclaimed order back, we can ship back the order if the customer pays the reshipping fees or issue a gift certificate to compensate for the item itself, excluding the shipping fees.

If after being contacted by email, the customer does not get back to us within 30 days, we will consider the order abandoned, and we will dispose of it as we wish. Once the deadline passes, no requests for reshipment or refunds will be accepted.

Out of stock items

Soompi Shop makes every attempt to ensure that site inventory is up to date, but on occasion, an item that is listed as being in stock may no longer be available. In this case, we will issue a full refund for the item. The refund will usually take three business days to be transferred back to your PayPal or bank account.
